About Katherine

Katherine Emtage is one of those people who's always made things. As a child growing up in London she created clothes for her toys, and as she grew older she did the same for her friends and family. In her twenties her passion for handbag making emerged, and she has been producing bags in Scotland since 2000.

The countryside and culture of Scotland provide Katherine with rick inspiration. From her base in Edinburgh she sells her work across Scotland, the UK and beyond. Her customers hail from as far afield as Europe, North America and the Far East.
